PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
NC “Romano Drom – 2002” (“the Centre”, “we”) is a controller of personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). This notice explains what personal information we collect, on what basis, how we store it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

What data we collect
Via the public website (romanodrom.org) we do not collect personal data from visitors. The site does not use analytics tools and does not set tracking cookies. Cookies and external services (Facebook, Google Drive) are described in the Privacy Policy (/en/poveritelnost).
Through our activities (schools, clubs, projects, events) we may process:
- names, phone and email of participants and their parents/guardians;
- participation records for schools, exhibitions, competitions;
- photos from events (with prior consent of participants or their parents).
Legal basis for processing
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — when registering for a school or club.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — reports to government authorities, audit records.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — publishing photos from events, newsletters.
How long we keep the data
Project and school records are kept for at least 5 years after completion, in line with the Bulgarian Community Centres Act and applicable regulations. Operational correspondence is deleted upon request.
Recipients
We do not share personal data with third parties except:
- government bodies (Tax Authority, municipal administration, Ministry of Culture) where required by law;
- funding institutions on projects that require participant lists;
- platforms we use (Google Drive, Facebook), to the extent necessary for the service — see the Privacy Policy (/en/poveritelnost).
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- request correction or erasure;
- restrict or object to processing;
- withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing);
- lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg).
