The Romano Drom - 2002 Community Center is a cultural and community institution registered on December 12, 2002 (National Register No. 2962). Based in Dobrich, the community center works to preserve and develop the Roma cultural heritage in Bulgaria and to build bridges between communities through education, art and community initiatives. "Drom" in Romani means "path". The name of the community center reflects the path that generations of Roma families have walked in search of a home, recognition and dignity - the path of the seeking spirit, symbolized by the chakra of life in our sign.
The community center is a member of the National Council for Cooperation on Ethnic and Integration Issues and regularly partners with the Municipality of Dobrich, the Ministry of Culture, non-governmental organizations and educational institutions on projects for integration, equal access and protection of the rights of the Roma community.

During the period of its existence, the “Romano Drom-2002” Community Center has become an attractive center and
a place for meaningful leisure time for a large part of the Roma children and youth in Dobrich.
The community center has as its goals:
To work for the development and enrichment of the cultural life of the Roma community and all other ethnic communities from the city of Dobrich and neighboring regions
To preserve and develop the customs and traditions of both the Roma community and all other communities in the Republic of Bulgaria
To arouse interest in knowledge with a view to the development of the personality and the inclusion of the Roma in the values and achievements of science, art and culture
To be a center for spiritual life and material culture of the Roma population in the city and the region
To provide access to information
To work for the education and affirmation of national self-awareness.
For its successful work in the field of education, culture and integration, the community center staff has been repeatedly awarded by the Ministry of Culture, the Regional Government and the Municipality of Dobrich for their contribution to the development of the Roma community in the region.
